E Each year, the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi honors outstanding chapters and the University of Delaware chapter has achieved the Circle of Excellence Platinum Award for 2021-22. The Circle of Excellence Award Program recognizes chapters for their work in promoting excellence at their institutions and engaging the community of scholars each year.

The chapter is excited to announce that Christopher Nichols, Associate Professor in the School of Music received a 2021 National Love of Learning Award. Professor Nichols put the award towards production costs associated with creating multimedia videos for the International Clarinet Association ClarinetFest 2021 Virtual .

Rebecca Vitelli, an undergraduate initiate of the University of Delaware chapter of Phi Kappa Phi member and winner of a 2014 Phi Kappa Phi National Graduate Fellowship was named the Delaware 2020 State Teacher of the Year for her work as a pre-kindergarten teacher in the Colonial School District.
