Taylor Anne Pearlstein, who was inducted as a junior, received a national Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship to attend University College in London to pursue a master’s degree in Cultural Heritage Studies. While at the University of Delaware, Taylor earned an Honors Degree with Distinction in Arts Conservation with minors in global studies and fashion history and culture. She was the recipient of an Honors Enrichment Award to serve as an intern in Sardinia working with archaeological conservators. As an Art Conservation Fellow, Taylor conducted oral history interviews with individuals working with museums, the US State Department and conservators in Iraq to preserve and assess current conservation efforts in the Middle East. Taylor served as a member of the Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab to create and test garment-based prototypes for which the team received a provisional patent; a full patent application has been submitted. She earned the General Honors Award and was named a Woman of Promise. Taylor served as a Blue Hen Ambassador and volunteer with the UD historic costume and textiles collection.
